The faro salad alone deserves all the stars. Absolutely amazing. All the ingredients were the very best examples of farm to table. The breakfast pizza and avocado toast were so delicious. The service was excellent and the ambiance was relaxed and perfect for brunch on a beautiful sunny day on Sunset.

First let me start with how amazing the bartender Johnny was! He made 2 fantastic mocktails for us: the G&T and the "No Mames". The latter was sweeter, but I preferred the G&T. My hubby got the "Police&Thieves" it's like a tiki drink. And then he got the sangria. He liked them both. Then my daughter got the Bianca's pizza. Which was great. Fantastic thin crust. I got the Breakfast Sandy with the egg poached instead of sunny side up. I think it would have worked better sunny side up. The bread was great and the bacon was of good quality. I would have preferred the hash brown on the side instead of on the sandwich. But the whole thing was very filling. My hubby got the French omelet which he liked, but it didn't come with any starch. So it was a lighter meal than he wanted. Next time he will order the two egg breakfast. Our waiter, Thomas, was excellent at giving advice on what to order. We love it when waiters give good advice!! The ambiance is great, and the staff is nice and very helpful without being snarky like most LA places are. The management should be proud of their team! We will come again soon!

Yony was a great waiter. The food was decent. The ice cream sandwich was underwhelming bc the cookie was hard and not warm. Very cold.

Had a rainy day brunch with a friend and we decided to try The Eveleigh since it was halfway between the two of us. Tucked away on the Sunset Strip this little place was delicious. We sat inside their main room next to the bar, but there was also a tented area, extending the building to accommodate more guests. The service was great and attentive, also very friendly. The ambiance is chill and very casual, good for a solo date, small groups or larger parties. Also, family friendly. The food was so delicious we even threw in a dessert. Would highly recommend this place for brunch, would absolutely go back for dinner!

I'm frankly not sure why the average rating for this restaurant is so middling. Perhaps a pizza was left in the oven too long, or maybe someone felt slighted by the staff but not Jamie W. and me. We loved this place and don't feel a need to be apologetic about it. We previously had a lovely experience at the popular WeHo Bistro on La Cienega (review: https://yelp.to/dCbbsxF4I0). However, this time we felt a need for something different on this particular trip to WeHo. We were staying nearby at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, so this was a convenient location for us. We immediately loved the open and rustically refined setting because it felt like what our myopic view of the Sunset Strip was all about. So El Lay, at least the LA of our misconceived dreams. We didn't see any celebrities, but we didn't have the level of radar frequency Lucy and Ethel had at the Brown Derby where William Holden got a face full of pie. We started with a couple of mocktails to make up for all the weekend cocktails. It was the $10 Sunrise, a refreshing so-SoCal mix of orange and carrot juices with coconut water, lemon, ginger, and turmeric (photo: https://yelp.to/Hq3cdPm04E). Jamie ordered the $16 Soft Scramble which laid claim to being "the world's softest scrambled eggs". They might've been, it was close. It came with house-cured lox, sour cream with green onions, and an everything English muffin (photo: https://yelp.to/SPtL9zPqZ3). Tasty goodness. I went for the $16 Breakfast Sandy, a kind of upscale Egg McMuffin with a soft brioche bun as the substitute. It held melted cheddar, hash brown, crispy bacon, arugula, chili mayo, and a sunny-side-up egg (photo: https://yelp.to/jONPc3wGjt). Truly delicious and gone in a matter of minutes. That may partially explain why we also shared the $28 Margherita Pizza with fresh basil, buffalo mozzarella, scamorza, parmesan reggiano, and a slow simmered tomato sauce (photo: https://yelp.to/4zRELOtyWY). Easily devoured. FOOD - 5 stars...so El Lay, so delish AMBIANCE - 5 stars...nice casual vibe with rustically refined touches SERVICE - 4.5 stars...pretty attentive and relaxed TOTAL - 5 stars...a leisurely elegant experience on the Sunset Strip RELATED - Exploring LA? Pretty outdoor seating with two large trees and tasty small bites and entrees, valet $15 and rare street parking. Pluses 1) gem salad with flowers light and refreshing 2) lamb meatballs flavorful 3) meat pasta was good 4) grilled squid great just ask for aoili on side 5) 3 seared scallops great 6) crumble delish 7) Pimms cup Areas to improve 1) drinks could better especially the Negroni and Moscow Mule (most disappointing) and Sangria (watered down) 2) service was friendly but timing was off with the pasta was served cold, our scallops came out very late, I didn't get my tea when others already finished their evening drinks Highly recommended and for special occasions, just some room to improve with timing and perhaps updating some drink items.
